The Department of Education of Minsk District Executive Committee sent a letter to schools with a demand to hold a lesson of volunteerism. It says that this lesson should be held in order to «create conditions for civil, patriotic, spiritual and moral upbringing of children».

The letter from Natalya Mikhadyuk, the head of the preschool and secondary education department of the Minsk District Executive Committee, says: «Since March 14, 2022, the All-Russian volunteerism lesson will be held in educational institutions of the Russian Federation.» Thus, it’s not hard to guess who gave the task and what kind of lesson it is.
The documents for the lesson say that it is going to be held among pupils of 5-11 grades and students of higher educational institutions. Among other things, children will be told for some reason that December 5 is the Volunteer Day in Russia, which was approved by the decree of Putin, a video will be shown about the history of volunteerism in Russia, which, of course, will also show Putin. Special attention at this lesson will be paid to «patriotic volunteering» – assistance to participants of military actions, improvement of memorial sites and soldiers’ graves.

Well, and that’s not all, Belarusian children will be told about the killed occupiers of the Russian Armed Forces and about the all-Russian action «A letter to a soldier», where children will be invited to write a letter of thanks and support to the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces , who attacked Ukraine, or in their wording: «the servicemen who are conducting a special operation on the territory of Ukraine».
