A «confessional» video with Mikhail Tsyhankou, the author of the popular Twitter account Gypsunkov, appeared in one of the pro-governmental telegram channels. His identity was confirmed by a person who knows what he looks like.

In the video, the man says that he works as a programmer at EPAM, he took part in protest marches in August 2020, was in the Infopoint chat and gave information about the movement of security forces.

«This chat also included Motolko, Putsila and Belavus. I am detained by police officers at the moment,» he said.

The front door to the apartment was also filmed, and the security forces on the stairwell, shouting «Lie on the floor, on the ground!» are heard.

Human rights activists reported on the detention of Tsyhankou yesterday. There was also information about the detention of other Twitter-bloggers with thousands of subscribers.

After that, two tweets appeared in the Gypsynkov’s account, the first of which was first deleted: «Once I went to village to enjoy infodetox and pilaf, and you have already put in prison all the Belarusian twitter» and «Photos of pilaf will be available only to lifelong subscribers of Soviet Belarus.»
