На русском языке: Упаковки беларусских товаров становятся менее красочными и «дешёвыми» из-за санкций
На беларускай мове: Упакоўкі беларускіх тавараў становяцца менш каляровымі і больш «таннымі» праз санкцыі

Back at the beginning of June, we told that Belarusian companies have a shortage of packaging for milk, yoghurt, wine, juices, curd snacks, and other products. Even then it was clear that the problem would soon be not only in documents, but also on store shelves in the form of «pale» packaging and lack of various tubes, plastic lids, and so on.

And indeed, only a month has passed, but goods’ packaging is no longer the same. To a large extent, this applies to products from Russia, but there are also many examples of Belarusian ones.

How the packaging of Belarusian goods has changed in just a few months:

Dessert cottage cheese "Venskiy zavtrak"

Manufacturer: Minsk Milk Factory №1

The cup became smaller, the plastic is of worse quality and thinner. The cardboard around the cup, on which the drawing and inscriptions were printed, is gone. It’s said that the taste has also changed.

Manufacturer: Bellakt

The packaging, which earlier was of lilac color, now is just white.

Flour "Stolichnaya melnitsa"

Manufacturer: Minsk combine of bakeries

Flour began to be sold in regular white packaging with an information sticker from the manufacturer.

Bonfesto Ricotta soft cheese

Manufacturer: Turau Dairy Plant

All the color images are gone from the packaging, and the transparent plastic cover has been replaced by a white one.

Note: Turau Plant buys a small portion of unlabeled cups and periodically releases small batches of products in such cups to stores. It depends on which products are in high demand.

We want to collect more of these changes. If you’ve noticed how the packaging of Belarusian goods has faded, please send a photo to @motolko_bot.
