Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with the CEO of Google Sundar Pichai and the Vice President of the company Karan Bhatia.
She thanked Google representatives for providing 24/7 support to repressed Belarusian media and civil society.
«It’s crucial to work together to counter propaganda & amplify alternative voices,» Tsikhanouskaya wrote.
We note that today Tsikhanouskaya’s advisor Franak Viacorka mentioned meetings of the delegation of Tsikhanouskaya’s Office with Google, Facebook, and Instagram management. He said that now almost every major technology company has a contact person whom Belarusians can contact for help.
