Today, the Minsk Regional Court began consideration of the criminal case against anarchists Dmitry Dubouski, Ihar Olinevich, Siarhei Ramanau and Dmitry Rezanovich. According to investigators, they set fire to the building of the State Committee for Official Examinations and the parking lot of the prosecutor’s office in Soligrosk, as well as the DMV building in Mozyr. The fires were without casualties or injuries.

At first, only close relatives were allowed into the courtroom, but then they were forced to leave the hall. According to the decision of Judge Vyacheslav Tuleiko, the consideration of the case over the anarcho-partisans was closed allegedly to protect the data of the victims in the case, the human rights center Viasna reports. Despite this, Belsat managed to take several photos from the courtroom.

The anarchists were detained on the night of October 28-29 last year. They are charged under a number of criminal articles for setting fire to official cars, the building of the DMV and the State Committee of Expertise in the Gomel region: Part 2 of Article 289 «Act of Terrorism»; Part 2 and Part 4 of Article 295 «Illegal Arms Trafficking». Dubouski and Olinevich are also charged under Part 1 of Art. 333-1 «Illegal movement across the border of prohibited substances, firearms and explosive devices». The anarchists spent more than a year in the KGB pre-trial detention center, they face up to 20 years in prison.

The mother of anarchist Ihar Olinevich, who together with Dmitry Dubouski, Dmitry Rezanovich and Siarhei Ramanau is being tried today in the Minsk Regional Court, told on Facebook the details of their detention and how today’s trial is going.

«At the time of detention, a saleswoman of the store where two guys came to buy food, called the police and reported them. The country of heroes and policemen. Border guards (not OMON, and not KGB) interrogated them. They fired tear gas and began to beat them. Sarhei cut his hands and the whole room was covered with blood. He told his mother about it himself when he was tried in Gomel.

One of the relatives was removed from the hall for simply waving at his brother. All these 15-20 minutes the guys were forbidden to talk to each other, and to communicate with relatives, even gesture to them. In the end, Dima Rezanovich responded to threats from the guards: Why are you scaring us? We have nothing to lose but our own shackles, because four convinced revolutionaries are standing in front of you!

Thank you to everyone who came to support us! Although not everyone was let in»– Valentina Olinevich wrote.
