The case of political prisoner Aleh Hruzdzilovich, the journalist of Radio Svaboda, was sent to court, human rights activists report.
The date of the trial start is unknown. He was charged with participating in an unsanctioned action after he was deprived of accreditation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Hruzdzilovich was first detained in July and released 10 days later on his own recognizance. He was a suspect under Article 342 of the Criminal Code («Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order»). He was detained again on 23 December and placed in the pre-trial detention center on Valadarskaha.
