Все правительство Литвы может уйти в отставку из-за транзита «Беларуськалия»
The Baltic News Service (BNS) reports that tonight, Ingrida Simonyte, the Prime Minister of Lithuania, will announce the decision on the resignation of Gabrielius Landsbergis, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, and Marius Skuodis, the Minister of Transport and Communications.
According to Simonyte, these may be not the only decisions, and the entire Lithuanian government can leave the cabinets.
«I do not rule out such a possibility, let me be clear. If there are so many questions about the activities of the government, then perhaps the government, if it does not answer these questions, should terminate its mandate, and some other government could continue this work from scratch», – Simonyte said.
Despite the entry of US sanctions into force, Lithuanian Railways will still supply Belarusian potash fertilizers to the port of Klaipeda. It is expected that the cargo transport company of the LTG Cargo group will transport about 1 million tons of fertilizers in December. This means that 6-9 trains a day will continue to operate through the territory of Lithuania. In this regard, Gabrielius Landsbergis, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, and Marius Skuodis, the Minister of Transport and Communications, said on Friday that they were ready to resign.
