The Qualification Commission on Advocacy conducted a certification of lawyers on January 26. Lawyers Igor Germanovich, Irina Zavolskaya, Tatyana Tarakhovich, Vadim Cherepitsa, Oleg Yurchenko were certified, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reports.
Lawyers Sergey Garusov and Aleksandr Filanovich did not pass the certification «due to insufficient qualifications.» Filanovich is one of Sofia Sapega’s lawyers. Earlier, he said that he could not pass the certification and would be deprived of his lawyer’s license.
Lawyer Ivan Zhabko was found to be not fully compliant with the requirements of the law. He will be certified again six months after advanced training.
The commission also decided on the possibility of disbarment in respect of Natalia Nekrashevich, who was not certified in December last year.
