Belstat published the data on the level of real disposable income of the population in the first quarter of 2022. They show that the growth rate of real incomes of Belarusians slowed down and grew by only 0.2% in January-March, although in January-February the growth rate was 2.2%.

The situation is even worse when analyzing data by region, where real incomes in four Belarusian regions have decreased for the first time since 2016.
Comparing to the same period in 2021, the worst situation is observed in Mogilev (–2.5%) and Vitebsk regions (–2.1%) of Belarus. The highest growth was registered in Minsk (+2.2%).
