It’s important to note that this is the first visit by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya to this country. During her visit, Tsikhanouskaya will meet with Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister, Melanie Joly, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and will speak at the International Security Forum in Halifax.
The visit also includes meetings with the academic community, parliamentarians, the Belarusian diaspora, and with Ivonka Survilla, the head of the Rada of the Belarusian Democratic Republic.
