Гібель кіраўніцтва ПВК «Вагнер»: што будзе далей з наймітамі ў Беларусі?
In the evening of August 23, the owner of PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, and a number of key figures of the PMC, were killed in a plane crash. This raises the question about the fate of the Wagner mercenaries, who were recently going to settle in Belarus for a long time.
Right after the information about the death of Prigozhin appeared, a version was spread that the death of the leadership of PMC Wagner may lead to the liquidation of the PMC and, accordingly, the withdrawal of mercenaries from Belarus. Such a scenario is possible, but let’s not draw premature conclusions. Given that the news about Prigozhin’s death was unexpected, it takes some time to start internal processes to reorganize the PMC and make decisions.
Currently, Belarusian Hajun doesn’t observe the withdrawal of mercenaries from their main base in Belarus — the camp in Tsel village, Asipovichy district. At the same time, there were Internet outages in the vicinity of the camp last night.
We note that according to satellite images of August 15, a slight increase in the number of equipment was observed in the field camp in Tsel. Also, from July 28 to August 15, about 35 tents out of almost 300 were dismantled at the camp.
In general, we can state that the situation at the camp is not static and is constantly changing.
