В Сейме Латвии создана депутатская группа «За демократическую Беларусь»
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office reports that the Parliamentary Group of friends of Belarus will protect the rights of Belarusians in Latvia, prevent discrimination and help with legalization.
Anatoli Liabedzka, the representative of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya for the constitutional reform and parliamentary cooperation, thanked the Parliamentary Group, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya would pay a working visit to Riga on June 8-9.
«Now there is not only the desire, but also the political will to work together. It will be a time of active meetings, consultations at the highest state level and, of course, discussion of specific plans for work and cooperation. I want to say to the deputies of the Saeima, who are members of the group “For a Democratic Belarus“ – Sveiki! Let’s work together so that Belarus and Latvia will always be both neighbours and friends,» Anatoli Liabedzka said.
